TALCOTT
WEST VIRGINIA
THIS WEBSITE CONTAINS HISTORIC INFORMATION
Talcott is a small unincorporated community nestled away in the mountains of Summers County in southern West Virginia. Sitting on the shores of the Greenbrier River, this small town is best known for being the home of the John Henry legend. This website serves as an archive for some of the history of Talcott High School, the town of Talcott and some of the surrounding communities. You may contact us at: talcottwv@gmail.com
This website is created and owned by William L. (Bill) Ball, a 1970 graduate of Talcott High School. A great amount of technical assistance and work on this project has been provided by Hunter Swagger. Thus far, Bill has been gathering information and scanning it into digital files and Hunter has been building the website. This is an ongoing project and is not in a final form.
